NAB starts FDA City investigations

Faisalabad: Through a letter, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has asked the Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) director general to provide information about FDA City, a scheme launched by the authority in 2005 that has not seen much progress in over a decade. Reportedly, FDA Acting Director General Yawar Hussain recently attempted to make arrangements for electricity in A Block and partially in F Block. He said the provision of electricity to the entire society would be completed by the end of the year and appeared to be unfazed by NAB’s investigation, claiming that it was just a ‘routine’ inquiry.According to a news source, however, only a few signboards and the foundation stone for the school have been put in place so far and the rose garden is kept locked. Ashfaq Ahmed, an FDA City investor, said over 11,000 families are suffering because of the delay caused by the negligence of FDA officials.https://www.imlaak.com/news/
