These agents are mostly fraud and anyone looking to purchase or invest in Pakistan because of these dealers philosophies, please read below that is nothing but real truth;

I was pursued  to buy and invest in 9 town around 3 years ago with all silly dreams and hope that it will go to 1 cror in few years,  so I moved money from UK to pakistan to purchase the plot for 60 lakhs @ 1 pound=145 Rs

Now the one pound = 208 Rs and plot value is 52 lakh Rs so total loss is 30 lakh within 3 years at rate of 10 lakh per year. Anyone things I will be able to recover my actual money in the next 1o year. never.. and then I have used this money elsewhere in a wise way I could have held on the capital amount in addition to the money profit even depositing in saving accounts.

So very sincere advice to all who have halal earning please do not follow greed and dump your money in search of a short cut. There is no such thing anymore. unless you have black/ill-gotten money. Only look at plot if you want a house.. worlds dynamics have changed now, pak rupee will remain unstable, war fear will stay there, and money laundering will make will level this sector anyway in coming years.. Exactly if one has this much holding capacity for 10 year or have easy or ill gotten money to park this long, it might not end up in no loss no gain. But then what science these consultants are trying to tell?

I think it is worst time for buyer due to artificial hype created by estate agents and bayana mafia similar to one that was created few years ago so all should try to refrain for a year or so..  this will automatically be corrected.  The business should continue with honesty and some regulation..I think these agents are not learning their lesson…whoever will buy in current time will loose for sure unless there is desperation and easy money…

I agree with Ali Butts assessment as above. Oversees Pakistanis work extremely hard for their money and Make a living in a strong currency/GBP/USD/SAR/DK/NO/CD/AD ,and easy for anyone to pull up a chart for the past 20 years with where PKR is heading against above currencies.

Biggest problem in pakistan is that the real estate market is not regulated and every john,dick and henry is a real estate agent and so called expert on the economy.

With a 10-20 precent gains over a year with PKR depreciation you will always loose unless you buying something for HODL.

Black money in pakistan will always win hands down against any oversees pakistani…….I can give you so many examples. Only buy in pakistan if you plan to live there otherwise i suggest people to read the book ” a random walk down wall street”

Get financial knowledge and educate yourself and plenty of opportunities in your home country.

PKR will always depreciate with the GDP/DEBT ratio…….just google all the above charts and educate yourself instead of listening to me or these so called real estate agents!

Bless you all and keep your hard money safe……….and always remember listen to your inner self in making an educated decision…….
