This news is to inform that a major breakthrough has been made that overseas Pakistanis can now easily procure properties in DHA. The new form issued by DHA is below
This means would be no restriction on overseas Pakistanis to buy property worth over PKR 5 Million irrespective they file taxes in Pakistan or not. One more thing would be clear in the near future, it is expected that overseas won’t have to pay advance tax or FBR tax whilst selling. This affidavit indicates that the person is paying taxes in the country of residence therefore any FBR taxes won’t be applicable to the buyer/seller. With this affidavit overseas Pakistanis can buy property(ies) without filing taxes in Pakistan.
