Theodore Roosevelt (26th President of the US) thinks that real estate is the basis of all wealth. What is your opinion ?

Real estate is the oldest of all investments and always taken as the most secure. Even more secure than keeping your money in the bank , insurances , bonds and stuff. This is the best way to secure savings for the rainy days , it always grows and is an imperishable asset.

We are presently going through a population boom in the world . Some stats suggest that we will be 9.7 Billion people by 2050. That means land will get more scarce , more developments and housing will be needed. If you invest in real estate you invest in the most basic need of mankind “shelter”.

I therefore fully agree with the Roosevelt as real estate will continue to grow and will always act as a basis of wealth in the world forever.
