Dear Sir, There is a confusion. Kindly help me clarify this and this is very urgent please. I have purchased a built up house. I have paid the withholding tax at FBR rate of the area.
Now I want to do registry of the said property with sub-registrar office. The town housing officer, informed that you have to purchase the stamps of value Rs. 880000/- for drafting sale deed. However I insist to write the amount as per DC rate in the sale deed, stamp value of which is 43000, as you earlier informed that stamp duty 5 % is payable on DC rate and not on FBR rate.
Kindly help and guide in the matter as I am very much confused, and I have to mortgage the property with the bank, as financed by bank.
