It is a good investment, however there are better areas to invest in DHA at this moment. I am not sure how long it may take for DHA to give possession. It is a good investment though if you plan to build your own house in Phase 5 in 2 to 3 years from now.

Dear Ahmed,
I believe that it would turn out to be a good investment considering a 10 marla plot in Phase 5 at the prevailing prices. 140 lacs is reasonably fine if you compare it with the D block of Phase 6. The drawback however, as pointed out is the time of possession which is uncertain. DHA has also acquired more land as there are 5 marla files of B block available in the market at an asking of 85 lacs. From investment vs growth I might not deem it the fittest investment but to build your own house in a couple of years time it isn’t bad at all.
