Salam, I am thinking to buy a 5 marla plot to build house in a year or two in dha.

I have visited 9 town and DHA Rehber.

9 town is seems very behind from development point of view .. though houses construction started but

things i noticed

there are commercial activity ie no shops yet, no mosque, school etc and most importantly no security and not a gated society and plots are full of grass , some very deep with narrow roads. and prices are high . ie a reasonable location plot is off 60+ compare to rehber. one can even find 8 marla plot in 65-70 there.

on the other hand DHA rehber 5 marla is in around 45-55 with number of residents living there. plots are clean and leveled, gated community, security present, shops and mosque exists and nearby university as well ..distance is even not bad from valensia, wapda twon model town, gulberg etc.

so just wondering if I want to construct house in a year or two I should buy plot in rehber or dha town 9 .. and will dha town will ever be good place from security point of view as like as gated society like rehber whilst being gateway to other phases etc. and why rehber prices are down in current time and will they remain down from dha town 9 even in future?.

will be thankful for insight expert opinion and comparison between two.

Salaam,

9 Town will gain as it is located between some of best Phases of DHA Lahore, Rahber has an over all compromised location, not to mention the Rohi Nullah which compromises a lot of plots over there.

It will take some time for commercials etc to develop in 9 Town but the over all development in future will be more superior than Rahber.
