DHA is the biggest housing society in Pakistan , controlled , organized and planned by Pakistan army to provide world class luxury living to its officers  and other ranks. In time it has become the favorite of investors because of its stability , transparency and security. After the huge success of its projects in DHA Lahore , DHA Islamabad and DHA Karachi , DHA launched DHA Gujranwala chapter in 2013 , followed by DHA Multan Chapter , DHA Bahawalpur and last but not the least DHA Peshawar.

DHA Gujranwala was the first to be announced  and rightly so , it is located in central Punjab , Gujranwala is an industrial hub of Pakistan and is in close proximity with the cities of  Sialkot , Gujrat, Kharian and Jehlum. This belt is responsible for a lot of recruitment within Pakistan Military and therefore the need to provide the people serving there country a home closer to there home cities.

DHA Gujranwala is located right next to Rahwali cantt which is the home of 30 Corps of Pakistan Army. Approximately 1600 Acres of land has been acquired for the project already and more acquisition for Phase 2 is underway.

DHA Plans to build 2 phases as of now right adjacent to the Rahwali cantt. It consists of 10 Marla and 1 Kanal Plots and will be launched loaded with amnesties such as Golf course, Polo ground , 24 Hour uninterrupted power supply and World class hospitals and schools.

DHA Gujranwala – Present

Presently the project is going in the right direction. Issues in the past relating to land registry fees and acquisition problems which have halted the progress of the project have now been resolved and it is sailing smooth. Some of those issues we mentioned earlier have kept investors at bay from the project. However things are changing slowly and  there is a growing interest of investors in the project now. Presently the files are abundantly available but that may change in a few months and as the shortage hits the market the prices will only move upwards. Rumors are that balloting of the project may be announced within a  year , followed by development work and delivery of the project within next 3 to 4 years.

So what does the future hold for DHA Gujranwala?.  I am confidant that it will be a landmark project of DHA and will attract a lot of genuine customers and investors alike in time not so far away from today.
